I’m definitely looking forward to the flight to Estonia and I’m curious how exactly life is different from ours there.

I learned that we should protect the nature more and find solutions to protect and develop things such as paths in forests, no more plastic and waste in our rivers and lakes , no more pollution and how good a walk through the forest can be . We should appreciate the nature more and try not to destroy it . I also learned how amazing friends can be, if they´re basically internet friends even bette

It felt like we were a big family and the warm atmosphere only added to that. But like every farewell party, there were lots of tears, that I didn’t really expect.
After a beautiful speech from our Finnish students and a few emotional words from their teacher, we all began to cry and we were a little bit embarrassed at the same time. We realized that we didn’t think of any speech or “thank you” ourselves, but we felt that it was important, however simple it might be.

There were two situations that were really special and touching in my opinion. The first one was on Thursday. My mom drove with Aada, Lara and me to Remscheid (our neighbour city) and we went shopping. My mom doesn’t speak English but she really tried to talk to Aada and Lara and I had to translate everything, but it was so cute to see how two people who speak different languages had a conversation.
The second situation was after the Finns and the Estonians were on their way to the airport to get their return flight. When I arrived home, my mom gave me a letter from Aada in which she told us how much she enjoyed this week and that she couldn’t have had a better host family than us. I think this was the most touching moment for me in this whole week.

I think I won’t be as shy as in the past, because I got more self-confidence in this project and I learned that nobody laughs when you make a mistake.
I also learned to talk in English without worrying to say something wrong.
